Hey ya’ll. I am actually taking a break from blogging for a few months, until I have consistant access to the interent, seeing as it is really hard to keep up with it all while being online sparatically. I will still read your blogs and comment when I have time. Have a great summer,
Alycia
From the looks of this thing I really need to update more, which I probabley will once it’s easier for me to access the internet. Not a whole lot has been going on with me, just the usual going to school, hanging out with Josh (we’ll have been together six months on the first of May) , reading lot’s of books. I have found a new author V.C Andrews. Her books are a little twisted, but they are good mysteries if you like the type where there are buried family secrets and the heroine has to find out what they are. Also, i’ve read Beverly Lewis’s new series The Courtship of Nellie Fischer. It is super fantabulas. On the brighter side of things, I’m passing all my classes except physical science, and there are 19 school days left, then I can start work. Yay! My Easter was pretty good. I went to my grandparents house for their annual family dinner and egg hunt, and I actually participated in the hunt for the first time in like 3 years. How was your Easter? OK, running our of things to write about, I guess now i’ll get to the ten random facts:
1. When it’s raining you can usually find me outside taking a walk. I love walking in the rain
2. I paint my nails almost everyday, then chip the polish off.
3. It is my personal taste that BQQ chips are the best when they are dipped in cholate milk
4. I want a billy goat named Josephina
haha
5. I randomly trip up the stairs.
6. I think all white bunnies should be died blue.
On the news and stuff we always hear about how the world is going to end in about a 1,000,000,000years. Why are we worrying about what will happen in 1 billion years? Do they have any idea just how long that is? That is like 250,000,000 presidential terms. The whole idea is absolutly ridiculas. Life is way to short to be worrying that far ahead, espessially about something that is not confirmed. And actually, the fact that people actually have nothing better to do than worry about what will happen in the future is rather sad. Where is their hope, their desire to live for today, their grip on the present? Oh yes, that’s right. Most of these people also spend their time researching stuff such as global warming and air pollution. I am so fed up with all this propaganda and nonsense. All they really need is Christ, for some hope in their future.
Yesterday I went to one of my favoritest places in the whole wide world-the library! I really only intended to get one book, but that is absolutly impossible. So, as I was wandering to the check out, I decided to see if they had a book by one of my favorite authors, and ended up getting five books. LOL, I guess this is one area where lack of self control is ok right? Anyway, my reading list for the next four weeks is:
A Promise to Believe In- Tracie Peterson
A Daughters Inherritance-Tracie Peterson
A Lady of Hidden Intent-Tracie Peterson
The Parting- Beverly Lewis
The Last Sin Eater-Francine Rivers

In school we just watched Sunset Boulevard. It was one of the best old movies i’ve ever seen. But Norma was so creepy. *shivers* You should totally go watch it, it’s totally worth it.
Ciao!

My dear friend Brittney has awarded me the Lemonade Award. So, in upkeep with the tradition I shall give it to five other people. I choose: Becca, Bethany, and Brooke. Here is the pretty little award.

Yum..lemonade… that sure does sound good.

Wow, it’s sure been a while since I last posted. Let me see, what’s happend since then? I moved from my moms house to my dads house and I can’t blog when i’m there because I have no interent. I had an awesome opportunity last weekend, i got to hear Dannah Gresh speak. It was so awesome! She is so on fire for God, and so dedicated to teaching young girls about sexual purity, dedication to Christ and freedom from sin. If you haven’t read her books, you really should. They are superfantastic!

Happy New Year! Ok, I know that most of you are posting lists of goals, resolutions and ideas you have for the new year, but i’m not. Lately i’ve been thinking about how stupid new years resolutions are. Ok, so you decide in, like, July that next year you are going to do something differently. Why wait until January? Just do it when you feel modivated to. What happens when you wait is you procrastinte until you have no passion or desire left for your goal, therefore it falls through. Do it when you are motivated. Ya, so it’s a stupid idea.
Whoa, it’s been ages since I posted last. I’ve been totally busy lately with various things.
I can’t believe it’s November already. This year has gone by so fast! I guess the old quote is true,
Time goes to yesterday,
And yesterday to time,
Only time can go to yesterday,
So start living your life.
One thing that really drives me crazy about November is all the Christmas stuff everywhere. Its almost like they intentionally skip the being thankful theme of November and move straight to the ‘what do you want’ theme of December. No wonder why most kids are spoiled nowadays. I mean seriously, what are possesions without thankfullness and appreciation?

We’ve all heard the cliche ’curiousity killed the cat’, but is it true? This is a thought i’ve been pondering lately. Is it acting in the opposite of fatih to wonder and ask questions, or is it helping faith? I actually think that asking questions helps build faith. Why? Because you actually question it to the point of actually believing it. I think this is why so many people can grow up in church their whole life, and never actually believe what they’re being taught, because they never thought about why the believed it or asked questions about it. They just accepted it blindly. Everybody needs to come to a place in their faith where they want to know why they believe something, how it works, and why it’s that way. It makes it way deeper.
